Citigroup entertaining IBM and others to run its BPO in India

Rumour has it that Citigroup may restructure its India back-office operations – valued at around $1 billion, and may sell or outsource these assets.

 

The BPO is called Citigroup Global Services, and the technology and infrastructure outsourcing division is called Citos.   IBM, Capgemini, and Tata Consultancy Services are bidding.
